Just Movement

The second release on Just Movement features the debut of Sean McCaff to the label. The Dutch producer has had a fruitful DJ career which dates back to 1989 and has appeared on Sander Kleinenberg's Little Mountain Records and Spiritual Records. Sean's debut release for Just Movement is a double A-side EP entitled 'Old School / Sonic Love' which includes a remix from BP.

The 'Old School' original leads the release of with a minimal tech house groove that's filled with fresh electronics. The delicate beats and complementary rhythms carve out a great groove with a wide array of vocal elements and sonic sounds to tantalize your senses. As the track builds tension filled tones and dramatic pads add a wickedly cinematic mood which carries the track to the main break. Here the catchy lead comes to fruition and once the groove drops back in the full hook is revealed for what should be an amazing moment on the dance floor. 

The lone remix is supplied by BP who is also making his first appearance on Just Movement. The Belgian producer has a meticulous discography which includes appearances on Guy J's Lost & Found Records and Aella Music. For his 'Old School' interpretation BP has upped the tempo and recreated the cool elements from the original perfectly. The result is an energetic, techy rework  that's full of cool rhythms and fresh grooves. BP's funky foundation immediately stands out and complements the fresh hypnotic lines from the original perfectly. A great dance floor rework from BP that's bound to earn support from a broad range of top DJs.

The second original on the release 'Sonic Love' finds Sean showcasing a spacey, techno vibe that's quite captivating. The punchy groove is once again surrounded by a wide array of intricate sounds which slowly build to the first break. Here the stylish lead fades in along with a warm wall of bass swells which make up the records massive bottom heavy groove. As the sonic lines flow through an enthralling chain of modulation the atmospheric content of the record rises in harmonic unison. It's a special vibe that Sean's managed to capture here and it closes the release off full of psychedelic and emotional qualities that you won't soon forget.
