The latest release on Just Movement welcomes Erdi Irmak to the label for his debut EP. Revered in the progressive house underground the Turkish artist has become a staple in the sets of many A-list DJs, most notably Hernan Cattaneo. Also owning an impressive discography with releases on ICONYC, Movement Recordings and Sound Avenue, Erdi now makes his much anticipated Just Movement debut with ' A Modern Odyssey'.

The title and showcase piece 'A Modern Odyssey' leads the release off with a deep and sultry vibe. The Turkish artist then introduces funky bass stabs and tight, tribal tinged percussion, for immediate dance floor appeal. A delicate lead carries a portion of the first act, taking it into dulcet territory before reappearing during a serene break, perfectly setting up a more rhythmic conclusion.

The companion piece 'Adrift' sits as a lovely complement with its free flowing melodic style. Warm, bassy swells, organic percussion and a playful rhythmic structure give the framework great bounce. Waning synths and timely modulation add just the right emotive touches before a sweeping break completes the melodic narrative. A reflective piece from Erdi and the perfect way to round out a successful debut on Just Movement
