The latest release from Just Movement welcomes Fernando Olaya back to the label for a brand new EP. The Colombian artist last appeared on the Dutch imprint with his 'I've Lost My Dragon' EP from November of 2016. Now following releases on Soundteller Records and his own Sonnet Speciale imprint, Fernando makes his much anticipated return to Just Movement with a two track EP entitled 'The Departure'.

Long renowned for his pristine production and innovative design Fernando presents some of his best ever work here. Beginning with the title track 'The Departure' Fernando explores techno sensibilities and progressive minded melodies. Anchored by a low slung groove the piece powers forward with vibrant rhythms and buzzing synths. Ethereal melodies tantalize the senses as the piece strips down to a quiet calm before the electric groove drops for a magic moment.

The companion piece " A Tribute" comes in much deeper and equally engaging. Charming melodies, organic percussion and a dreamy tones lead the way here. A touch nostalgic with a delicate emotional response, it not only sits as a lovely complement to the original but ends the release off on a reflective note. Lovely work from Fernando who will be joining The Movement Showcase at this year's ADE
