The tenth release on Just Movement finds the label showcasing a brand new collaborative project from Daniel Gomez & Manu F. Hailing from Mexico and Argentina respectively Daniel and Manu are already quite established as solo artists. They've both appeared on Abstract Space Recordings, Balkan Connection South America and Green Snake Recordings. Now for their first ever collaboration and debut single for Just Movement Daniel and Manu present ' Freyja' which includes remixes from Ewan Rill, Rogier & Stage van H and Stergios.

The fusion of Daniel and Manu's respective sounds has resulted in the deep and atmospheric 'Freyja'. A warm, rolling groove lays down a great foundation while cross cultured synths and soulful vocal wails add very powerful vibes. The main break showcases the ethereal beauty of the lead motif while the pixie-like melodies further tantalize the senses. A subtle yet calculated progression adds anticipation as the groove drops back in while escalating atmospheres and smooth chord changes take the track higher to amazing finish. A gorgeous debut collaboration from Daniel and Manu.

The first interpretation of 'Freyja' is provided by Ewan Rill who is making his first appearance on Just Movement. The Russian producer has been busy thus far in 2015. The launch of his Sever Records imprint is imminent and remixes for Majestic Family, Microbios and Soundteller are already rocking the Beatport charts. You're never quite sure what to expect from the Russian producer but it's almost certainly going to club friendly and full of great energy. For his 'Freyja' interpretation Ewan has gone deep and groovy with excellent results. A low slung, grinding bass line along with a celestial top end and clubbier rendition of the lead motif all adds up to one of Ewan's most spectacular remixes to date. Pure emotion and positive vibes coming from this one.

The second interpretation of 'Freyja' finds Rogier and Stage Van H returning to the label for their sixth appearance. Rogier and Stage are in a way the heart and soul of Just Movement. The duo's warm, atmospheric take on progressive house is quite distinctive and has carved out a sound for the label to an extent. They've been much busier of late already chalking up releases on Abstract Space Recordings, Classound Recordings and Movement Recordings in 2015. For their 'Freyja' interpretation Rogier and Stage have put their own signature twist on the track with deep bass lines, ethereal vocals and long cinematic atmospheres which run like a beautiful story board throughout. The chord changes leading into the main break keep the emotional content well intact form the original and set up an even more heartfelt conclusion. Wonderful remix from Rogier and Stage.

The third and final interpretation of 'Freyja' is provided by Stergios who is making his fourth appearance on Just Movement. Much like Rogier and Stage Stergios is an integral part of the Just Movement roster. His laid back melodic style of progressive is always welcome and he's just compiled the recent Technical Progress Volume 5 compilation on Movement Recordings which was outstanding. For his 'Freyja' interpretation Stergios has delivered a gorgeous afterhours version which captures the emotion from the original in an entirely new context. The addition of two piano themes set against a laid back groove and shimming atmospheric haze seems like the perfect way to close off the release. A beautiful version from Stergios and another top notch offering from Just Movement. Don't miss it.

Just Movement started 2015 off very strong with the release of Julian Dep's 'Underground Flight'. The Dutch imprint now builds on that momentum by welcoming Tash back to the label for his first single. The Greek producer and head of Movement Recordings provided a remix on 'Underground Flight' and his latest original entitled 'Rebirth' looks set to be one of Just Movement's biggest ever releases.

The last six months has seen Tash with a number of incredible studio creations. The highlight of those was perhaps his interpretation of Marcelo Vasami's 'Laval Station' which was played on the radio by Hernan Cattaneo. It capped off an incredible year for the Greek producer and left electronic music fans wanting more and wondering what would come next. Tash's first single of 2015 'Rebirth' has already received some nice buzz in the underground. When word got around that Hugo Ibarra & Uvo along with Navid Mehr were called upon for the remixes there was a feeling of something special on the horizon. Tash's club friendly progressive sound has always been a delight for the dance floor and 'Rebirth' may be one of his deepest and most profound creations to date. It's muscular groove, haunting vocal elements and poignant melodies build to goosebump proportions over the course of its eight minute journey. This not only gets the year off to a great start for Tash but it's already being talked about as the best works of his career!

The first interpretation of 'Rebirth' is provided by Hugo Ibarra & Uvo who are making their first appearance on Intemporal Music. The Mexican duo were one of 2014's most talked about production acts. After teaming up in late 2013 Hugo and Uvo went on an incredible run that has seen them appear on Dopamine Music, Perspectives Digital, Movement Recordings and a host of other top underground imprints. For their 'Rebirth' interpretation Hugo and Uvo have worked more of their deep, dreamy magic. Backed by a foundation of muted bass tones and sultry swells the cavernous groove comes with a large presence. The Mexican duo have always been leaders in the pixie-esque sound and their tantalizing reinvention of the melodic elements is further proof of that. Drifting harmonies and soft textural rhythms soon surround the framework and carry the piece to a dreamy conclusion. Another brilliant remix from Hugo Ibarra and Uvo.

The second and final interpretation of 'Rebirth' is provided by Navid Mehr who is also making his first appearance on Just Movement. The Toronto, Canada based producer has gotten 2015 off to an amazing start with a new EP (some of which in conjunction with Amber Long) just released on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Navid has been a favourite of the storied DJ since the inception of his solo project in 2014 in fact. For his 'Rebirth' interpretation Navid has reinvented the main themes from the original in a deeper, techy and more organic style which is absolutely beautiful. Aptly coined 'Last Goodbye' the emotion-rich production builds endlessly with waves of rolling bass and warm harmonic textures that are sure to be engrained in heart long after the night is over. Superb remix from Navid and an amazing release from Just Movement, for my money their best yet.
