The 54th release on Just Movement welcomes Jacob Singer back to the label for his debut EP. The Madrid based artist first appeared on the Dutch imprint in January of 2017 with a contribution to the label's 'Winter Sampler'. Also boasting a discography highlighted by releases on 3rd Avenue, Clinique Recordings, Electronic Tree and Stellar Fountain, Jacob has been a staple of the progressive underground since 2011. Now stepping up for his debut EP on Just Movement he presents 'Trappist One' and 'No More Lies' alongside remixes form Ewan Rill and Stage Van H.

Beginning with 'Trappist One' Jacob explores deep bassy textures, free flowing effects and muted beats. Dubby in design the piece eventually opens up with vibrant synths and ethereal arps. Clever beat patterns enhance the rhythmic core before a killer lead line initiates the break. Airy and a touch emotive it's a standout centrepiece taking you through a range of sonic tapestries before the beats drop for a big moment. The companion piece 'No More Lies' follows suit with deep, dubby beats and a rugged rhythmic core. Character abounds, intricate effects fire through the framework, before a nasally arp adds a deadly hook. Evolving throughout the break, it's a delight for the senses, eventually giving way to waves of atmosphere and a solemn third act finale.

The first interpretation of 'Trappist One' is provided by Ewan Rill who is returning to the label for his seventh appearance. The Russian artist and Sever Records boss brings a warmer, more club friendly vibe to the production with wonderfully sculpted bass and smooth melodies. Indistinct vocals trail through the framework as layers of melodies get added and then stripped away as the breakdown commences. Expertly executed the centrepiece flows through a series of atmospheric shifts before a rush of noise reignites the groove for a warm, melodic finale.

The second and final interpretation of 'Trappist One' is provided by Just Movement label artist Stage Van H. The Netherlands based producer brings his warm, free flowing sound to the piece with great success. Backed by a rolling groove and waves of intoxicating atmospheric, Stage crafts emotive chord changes which highlight the first act before a short but timely break resets the groove for a gorgeous finale
