Just Movement's latest finds Marcelo Paladini making his label debut with 'Librarians'. The Argentinean producer has been a mainstay of the electronic music underground since 2011. His initial releases on Funktripes, LAD Publishing and Stereo Paradise were met with much praise. The next three years saw Marcelo add amazing projects to his discography. Releases on Agara Music, Classound Recordings and Magic Room defined his unique progressive sound and 2015 has already showcased a two track EP on Golden Wings Music. Marcelo's debut single for Just Movement is entitled 'Librarians' and it includes remixes from Rogier & Stage Van H and Robert R. Hardy.
'Librarians' finds Marcelo crafting one of the most gorgeous productions of his career. It's warm foundation comes with a wonderful roll which sets the groove in motion. What follows is a narrative which is both funky and enchanting. The well shaped bass stabs seem to intensify with each passing loop as momentum builds and the developing motifs become increasingly charming. A stripped down middle section does wonders for building anticipation and a blissful third act closes things out just right. Beautiful work from Marcelo.
The first interpretation of 'Librarians' is provided by Rogier & Stage Van H who are making their seventh appearance on Just Movement. The much loved duo have fast become a household name for deep music lovers and their recent work for Aethereal and Classound Recordings is on par with their finest ever. Rogier & Stage have had a hand in over half of Just Movement's releases so far and their warm, lush grooves have come to define the sound of the label. Marcelo's 'Librarians' is another ideal piece for them to remix and the end result is spectacular. With a reworked groove the drive and energy gets cranked up a few notches straight away. The silky smooth lead theme carries you on an amazing journey though fluid chord changes and sparkling atmospheres, it's a heavenly vibe which culminates in the third act and leaves you wanting more. Gorgeous remix from Rogier & Stage once again.
The second and final interpretation of 'Librarians' is provided by Robert R. Hardy who is making his first appearance on Just Movement. The Hungarian producer was one of last year’s most pleasant discoveries for many electronic music fans. His deep grooves carry a mystical presence about them and he’s got a knack for crafting dubby hypnotic lines which are perfect for late night play. 2015 has already been met with many successes for Robert with releases on 238 West and Soundteller Records being some of the highlights. For his 'Librarians' interpretation Robert has worked his deep, melodious magic once again. It's chugging groove and finely tuned percussion sets an amazing foundation for the dance floor while it's shimmering top end constantly evolves for an unparalleled journey into sound. Brilliant remix from Robert who continues to impress and a great release from Just Movement who are building an amazing catalog of music with each successive release.
